W&G REVIEW: As well as the popular Serene range, all PING clubs can be custom fitted for women. Here we take a look at the G25 driver to see if it will suit us ladies and how it compares to Serene.
The G25 is for everyone from beginners to Tour players. The combination of a large, forgiving head, trajectory tuning technology, and a speed-generating shaft makes the adjustable G25 driver a sound choice for improving distance and accuracy off the tee.
Easy adjustable lofts - add or subtract one-half degree of loft on the standard 8.5°, 9.5°, 10.5° and 12° settings to optimise launch conditions for maximum distance.
W&G says: "It's refreshing to see that PING's G25 can be custom built to suit virtually requirement. A big plus if you already hit a high ball and want a lower loft for longer distance. Very easy to adjust and it gives a fast, fiery launch off the face that's impressive. The obvious negative of buying a club that hasn't beed designed specifically for women is it lacks the female touch with a rather dull grey coloured clubhead. The clubhead shape is also unusual and takes a bit of getting used to."
