Since SkyCaddie Mobile runs on a smartphone and not a precision-engineered and dedicated SkyCaddie device, it is not an equal substitute for a real SkyCaddie. However, it is powered by the same ground-verified and error-corrected TruGround® Course Maps which make SkyCaddie one of the most trusted rangefinders in golf.
The basic SkyCaddie Mobile App is a free download from the Apple App and Google Play stores. Premium features, such as the ability to access SkyCaddie's frequently-updated global library of TruGround® Course Maps using the phone's GPS signal, are available via an in-app purchase of SkyCaddie Mobile Premium for £20.99 per year.
SkyCaddie Mobile is handy to use if you have an older SkyCaddie, or a wearable SkyCaddie watch product with a smaller screen, and want to grab a quick look at the overall hole layout before using your dedicated SkyCaddie device to obtain the reliable distances .
Or use SkyCaddie Mobile as a backup if you forget your SkyCaddie!
Existing SkyCaddie customers with eligible memberships will receive an automatic upgrade to SkyCaddie Mobile Premium at no extra cost as an additional benefit. SkyCaddie Members with the Double Eagle Plus 2 family memberships will find the new Mobile app an especially convenient way to introduce a family member to SkyCaddie in an affordable way.

SkyCaddie Mobile Premium includes many of the same features which are available in SkyCaddie’s dedicated GPS devices including:
· Interactive HoleVue in Vivid HD, which provides a bird’s-eye view of the entire hole and the distances needed to any point from tee to green to avoid hazards and play smart golf.
· Integrated HoleVue Targets, including up to 40 geo-referenced targets per hole. Golfers simply pinch and zoom HoleVue to seamlessly reveal the critical distances to all hazards, carries and layups — not just a few calculated layup yardages provided in other apps … all without changing screens to a list of targets that are hard to understand.
· Detailed Green Information allows golfers to view the exact shape of the green and get distances to the front, centre and back from anywhere on the course.
