Women & Golf's Jane has a first look at the Golfstream Gx5 electric trolley and what's in the box
The Golfstream Gx5 trolley is one of the lightest and easy to fold/ unfold golf trolleys on the market today.
Recently, we received the Gx5 to try out. More to follow in a review next week but in the meantime a quick first look at the trolley when you open the box.
What's in the Box?
Well, it couldn't be more simple. All robustly packaged, you have:
- Folded trolley
- Owners instructions
- Battery box with battery & charger guide.

Trolley
Unfolding and folding the Golfstream Gx5 trolley is as simple as 1,2,3,...

Battery

The battery box includes the battery, battery trolley cable and power lead. Connecting the trolley cable to the battery is a quick push into place with +/- guide markers. It's a quick push down to release the cable after play.
The battery comes fully charged but if you get the chance charge it before use.
When plugged in the battery pack shows red when needing a charge, green when fully charged. Always charge after use. The most damaging thing for any rechargeable battery is to leave it stored in a discharged condition.
Looks
It's a good looking trolley and comes in a variety of colours. (Obviously, pink is not everyone's cup to tea).

- Orange,
- Yellow
- Red
- Green
- Blue
- Teal
There is an instruction manual included which gives you all the information you need to know, but it is so intuitive that you don't need to read this to get started. Although I will be reading the finer details about the speed indicator and distance control before I take it out on the course.
