The EZONE XPG feature an expanded carbon graphite on the crown for an ultra-low and deep center-of-gravity, whilst also producing higher trajectory with reduced spin. The newly evolved DTP System dramatically increases head speed while improving balance. Add in the newly designed light-weight, counter-balanced Tungsten Balance Grip, and you have a line of YONEX clubs that absolutely destroys golf balls.
EZONE XPG Driver- RRP £249
The new Ezone XPG Driver (pictured above) from Yonex features a larger Carbon Composite Crown than previous models, ensuring the optimum Centre of Gravity for greater distance and utmost forgiveness. The Carbon Crown Composite structure reduces the weight in the crown, allowing an 8 gram tungsten weight to be positioned at the rear of the sole. In addition, a further 13.5 gram weight has been placed inside the head to achieve the optimum CG for forgiveness.
Meanwhile the Dual Tungsten Power [DTP] System, harnessing the revolutionary Tungsten Grip and removable Tungsten screw, is counterbalanced by the lightweight shaft to produce maximum power. The driver also showcases the Quick Adjust System, which allows the loft to be altered by up to +/- 1.5 degrees to find the ideal distance enhancing ball flight.
The fairway woods and hybrids feature the same technology and are also adjustable. You can choose your optimum position. The loft angle can be adjusted ±1.5°. Fairway RRP- £189. Hybrid RRP- £159.
EZONE XPG Irons- RRP £699 (5-SW)
Yonex's most technologically advanced set of irons yet, combining a Dual Tungsten Power design with an incredibly thin (and therefore fast) face, thanks to the strength of a new, very resilient material (Chromoly Steel). This equates to big increases in swing speed, ball speed and thus distance. A double undercut cavity increases the size of the sweetspot for maximum forgiveness and a 3D sole design reduces turf drag to encourage a cleaner ball strike.
